Untangling Sea Lion Individuality

I want to understand individuality in sea lions and its relevance to wildlife management. Specifically, my dissertation research is focused on characterizing the degree to which individual sea lions adopt different foraging strategies and how different strategies increase or decrease that individual’s probability of interacting with fishing activities.

I recently sought funding for this part of my thesis research through an online public funding campaign organized by the SciFund Challenge. To read more about it, go to: http://www.rockethub.com/projects/7370-untangling-sea-lion-individuality
