Robert Wildermuth

Lab Member Fall 2010 – Spring 2012

Currently with Western EcoSystems Technology

Robert is concerned with answering questions involving conservation biology and adaptive management. He strives to do this by combining quantitative modeling techniques with knowledge of ecology, population demography and animal behavior. While a master’s student in the Gerber lab, he worked on developing new methods for censusing California sea lion behavior in the Gulf of California, Mexico.

As a research technician with the lab, Robert guided one of the sustainable seafood projects involving the possible relationship between fishery sustainability and chemical contamination.
