Lab Member Summer 2008 – Spring 2009
Kevin was a senior conservation biology major at ASU, interested in behavior, geography and history. He has a broad range of interests and is willing to learn new ideas and tasks. His research project aimed to identify spatial patterns within the territories of male California sea lions by using GIS programs. This research was intended to help identify key habitats used by male sea lions during the breeding season. Kevin began with the Gerber lab in the summer of 2008 as a volunteer field crewperson in Granito, followed by a semester of volunteer data entry and another semester as a SOLUR apprentice.
