Aaron was an undergraduate researcher in the Gerber lab. He graduated with a degree in Conservation Biology in 2010. He is interested in many aspects of biology and its history including: paleontology, ecology, ornithology, genetics, wildlife management, and especially conservation. He studied for two years in the Gerber Lab and in the SOLUR program, and worked as a student researcher on a project with Ramona Flatz and fellow undergrad Alissa Rickborn. They examined relatedness in male sea lions in comparison to the total population’s relatedness on the islands of San Jorge and Los Islotes. Aaron presented a poster in the SOLUR Undergraduate Poster Symposium in the spring of 2009.
