Research Interests

I am currently a senior majoring in biological science at ASU and minoring in psychology.  I am also working on my Barrett honors thesis in the Gerber Lab.  My thesis involves bottlenose dolphins, their unique, semi-cultural behaviors and conservation.  In past labs, I have helped a doctoral student with his research experiments. I created lines of drosophila, sexing drosophila, counting eggs and preparing nutritional media and helped another doctoral student with his research experiments with house finches. I also have fieldwork experience through a study abroad program in Panama.  I have also been able to maintain two part-time jobs during schooling.  In the future, I would like to obtain a PhD and continue to research dolphins and their behavior and intelligence.
