RESEARCH INTERESTS
Currently, I am a first-year student majoring biology at the Barrett
Honors College at Arizona State University; and I am also a member of the
School of Life Sciences. It has always been my intention to pursue a career
in marine biology, which is how I initially became involved with the Gerber
lab. My affiliation with the lab, which began when I started volunteering
around the lab in November of 2007 as a senior in high school, is fast
approaching the one year-mark. Now, after a bit of time spent in the field
and quite a bit more time spent sorting through the data collected from
those excursions, I will soon begin my own research project. While I have
yet to narrow this down to a specific focus, it will probably take place in
the area of sea lion behavior. Whatever I end up doing though, I intend to
fully embrace the opportunities this lab has to offer.
