RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am a conservation biology major entering my senior year at ASU and so far I have been interested in behavior, geography and history. I have a broad range of interests and am willing to learn new ideas and tasks. My current research project is to identify spatial patterns within the territories of male California sea lions by using GIS programs. This research may help identify key habitats used by male sea lions during the breeding season. I began with the Gerber Lab in the summer of 2008 as a volunteer field crewperson in Granito, followed by a semester of volunteer data entry and another semester as a SOLUR apprentice.
